2018 marks the race’s 13th anniversary of the Brompton World Championship races and to celebrate Brompton has released the exclusive limited edition World Championship bikes for 2018. Normally given to winners of the world championship race in London each year now you can ride and race your very own BWC bike. Configured as a 6-speed with flat S bars, this is the perfect platform for spirited riding and racing around the world.
The 2018 edition of the popular bike is being described as a “celebration of all things racing". The special edition bike features Union flag colors, with a royal blue rear frame, white main frame and red handlebars, fork and stem – all in a gloss finish. The BWC bike will ship with Kojak tyres, red brake cables, white mudguards and a unique decal and ID plate, which sports a BWC logo and 2018 engraving. The bike launches alongside Brompton’s BWC bike race, the final of which takes place on 28th July as part of Prudential RideLondon cycling festival. It will see competitors from all over the world, including Freedom Folding Bikes Katie Rollins, who won the US Championships at Laguna Seca, racing on Bromptons around St James’ Park.
